THE 1st PRESS HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL DEEP BLACK VINYL SHINE AND LIES COMPLETELY FLAT ~ THERE AR A FEW FINE HAIRLINE NEEDLE + HANDLING MARKS BOTH SIDES BUT NON FEELABLE AND CERTAINLY NOT DISTRACTING TO THE SOUND OR THE OVERALL LOOK OF THIS RECORD ~ THE AUDIO PLAYBACK IS DEEP , CLEAR AND  RICH MONO ~ JUST A COUPLE OF VERY LIGHT AUDIBLE POPS IN BETWEEN A COUPLE OF TRACKS BUT I AM SURE EVEN THESE CAN BE ERADICATED WITH A PROFFESSIONAL CLEAN ~ AS I COLLECTOR WITH A DISCERNING EAR  MYSELF I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT I HAVE HEARD NON BETTER ~  I WILL CAREFULLY GRADE THE RECORD AS VERY GOOD+ / NEAR EXCELLENT
A WELL CARED FOR AND WELL PRESERVED COPY THAT HAS HAD ONLY A SHORT AMOUNT OF PLAY

THE SLEEVE:
ORIGINAL ISSUE UK FIRST PRESS LAMINATED FLAP-BACK SLEEVE WITH ANGUS McBEAN CREDIT IN THE FAR BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER ~ Printed and Made by Ernest J.Day  & Co.Ltd London ~ LARGE BOLD MONO TOP RIGHT CORNER ~ NICE TIGHT LAMINATE FRONT WITH SHARP OPENING EDGE , NO PEEL AND VIBRANT COLOURS ~ THERE A FEW MINOR DEFECTS WHICH I WILL DESCRIBE BUT NON TO DETRACT TOO MUCH FROM THIS SOLID 1st PRESS SLEEVE ~ THE TOP LEFT CORNER HAS A SMALL  BUMP CREASE  AS PICTURED~THE TOP RIGHT CORNER HAS A SCUFF WITH A TINY SPLIT~ THE BOTTOM RIGHT McBEAN CORNER HAS A SCUFF AND A TINY SPLIT AS SHOWN ~ THE INITIALS NH WRITTEN SMALL IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER ~THE BOTTOM EDGE HAS A FEW CRACKS AND SLIGHT SURFACE PEEL ~ THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER HAS A GRAZE AND A 2" CLEAN SEAN SPLIT~ THE LAMINATED FRONT SURFACE IS RIGID AND DISLAYS SOME LIGHT WRINKLES IN THREE CORNERS~ THE SPINE IS WHITE ,CRISP AND SHARP WITH VEY CLEAR LETTERING ~THE REAR OF THE SLEEVE IS VERY RESPECTABLE WITH A FAIRLY CLEAN WHITE SURFACE AREA DISPLAYING SOME TINY DISCOLOURATION SPOTS IN PLACES ~ THE TOP FLAP-BACK HAS HAD A MINOR REPAIR BY MYSELF TO RE-ADHERE THE FLAP AS SHOWN IN CLOSE UP ~ THE RIGHT HAND FLAP BACK IS CRISP AND CLEAN ~ THE BOTTOM FLAP BACK HAS A COUPLE OF LIGHT WRINKLES ONLY ~ OVERALL A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY FIRST PRESS SLEEVE ~ I WILL CONSIDERATLEY GRADE THE SLEEVE AS VERY GOOD

GRADED TO UK RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE CONDITION GUIDE AS FOLLOWS:

EXCELLENT: "The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear or creasing" - this will be a very collectable copy diplaying the odd faint hairline surface / sleeve withdrawal paper marks only with a full original vinyl gloss sheen and clean labels -crisp edges and opening to the sleeve.Most collectors will be delighted with this standard .

VERY GOOD: "The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deteriation in sound quality ,despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects ,is acceptable." - this will be a respectable playing copy of the desired record. There may be a slight dulling to the vinyl shine due to faint surface marks- the record will play through well with no skips / jumps or sticks although there may be come light surface noise in the form of crackle /pops under the music especially on the intro and run out . Any audio defects will not spoil the overall enjoyment of the record. -The sleeve amy have a few very minor edge tears / edge wear and possibly some ringwear showing. The opening edge may be a little worn / feathered. Overall a copy worth owning  to ecomomise or await a substitute better copy.

GOOD: "The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriated, perhaps with some distortion and or mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges ,spine splits, discolouration etc..."  - this will be a collection filler copy. Records in this condition will play through with no skips/jumps or sticks. The appearance of the vinyl will be dulled by fine surface marks.The playback will be slightly distracted by the the surface noise and will sound like a 78 rpm record.I will only offer very rare titles in this condition which belong in cherished collections
