Description

The BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME 1963 1st STEREO PRESSING  DICK JAMES CREDITS BLACK / GOLD LABELS YEX 94 - 1 / YEX 95 - 1 STAMPERS 1 R / 1 G VINYL - FAIR / LABELS G / SLEEVE VG
This is the complete package of the Holy grail for record collectors, not only do we have the most famous rarity in the world, the gold stereo 1st pressing of Please Please Me but it also has the original 'gold' stereo sleeve, original Emitex inner and unbelievably the original NEMS advertising sleeve from the North End Music Store owned by Brian Epstein and his family in Liverpool and it was largely down to this very store that the Beatles became a worldwide sensation. It even has a rare Parlophone advertising flyer!!
The history is all here in one package. This is where it all began!!
The condition of the vinyl is pretty poor as it has lots of marks to both sides, it is unfortunate but it is obvious that it has been played many, many times and it hasn't been well looked after so please bear this in mind when bidding as I do not want bidders hoping for something that they are not going to get.
Although the record does play surprisingly well You shouldn't buy this for the listening experience.
The original gold sleeve is in far better condition and is really quite nice and is graded as VG.
The jewel in the crown NEMS sleeve is in remarkable condition and really would make this a beautiful framed display showpiece.
Have a good look at the pictures, I have taken some close ups as to not hide anything and if in doubt just drop me a message and I will reply.

Please have a look at the pictures and if you have any questions please ask.
