The Beatles :- Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Original 1967 UK Parlophone PMC 7027 Mono LP with Gatefold Sleeve , Sgt Pepper Cut Out Card and Original white 'Patents Applied For' Liner Sleeve

Side Two run out grooves contain the 'silent' whistle and the 'I Never Could See Any Other' vocal repetition

Fabulous condition Beatles album - and this one comes with one of the Original '4th Proof' Gatefold Sleeves !

Apparently only a few sleeves were issued carrying the 'Fourth Proof' denotation (on the inner flip , at the  right hand corner) and 'AR' Designers Initials and D 13217 G&L Catalogue number (on the inner flip , next to spine fold)

The first one I have had for quite some time , and so nice to have such a great condition example to pass on to a serious collector.....

The disc has lovely bright surfaces , and have no marks or wear present (possibly one very very faint trace evident beneath a light).... Lovely bright , crisp labels - the only real sign of use is a couple of spindle swirls near centre hole .... The disc plays through with outstanding sound quality : Graded at EXCELLENT+ / MINT minus   condition.

The Sleeve has very light use only .... beautifully bright , crisp and clean .... great edges and spine .... a couple of small , very minor signs of laminate wrinkle  : Graded in At Least  EXCELLENT  condition.

The Cut Out Card is in MINT minus condition.

The 'Patents Pending' Liner has very light use , no splits or damage : EXCELLENT condition.

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
