Up for Auction are my 2 Sgt. Pepper's 45 RPM with picture sleeves. Purchased brand new in 1978.
Capitol Records of Canada 4612
-----Sleeve is in Excellent condition. No seam splits or bends. Light record impression around edge. Kept in a plastic sleeve for 33 years. For some reason,"# 1000" is stamped in black ink at the top if the inside of the sleeve. I bought it from the store that way.
-----Record is EXCELLENT condition. I don't remember ever playing it (because I have the album version). Label is MINT.
Parlophone R 6022
------Sleeve is VG++ condition. Very hard cardboard. No seam splits or bends. Light ring wear if you hold it up to the light and really look.
------Record and label are in near mint codition an also has never been played.
RECORDS GRADING SYSTEM
Excellent: near mint. Record may have been played once. Wear only frombeing taken in and out of sleeve and or storage.
VG++: VERY GOOD++ is record shows one or two light paper scuffs, label is clean w/ light wear.
VG+: VERY GOOD+ is record shows signs of being played, light scuffs and light surface scratches.
VG: VERY GOOD is record shows more signs of being well played. but still in nice condition. Scuffs and light scratches with possible surface noise & light pops. No skips.
