BEAUREGARD AJAX “DEAF PRISCILLA” LP – SHADOKS (#?)

 

The best Shadoks so far?  I’m tempted to say so!  I’ve bought a pile of these outrageously deluxe reissues (this is actually archival material that has never been released) & this one contains easily some of the best music heard from this label.  Top-tier west-coast psych with beautiful harmonies, fuzzed out guitar & excellent psychedelic production, without question a major find in this time when there seems to be an ocean of worthless psych reissues.  Wholeheartedly recommended to fans of the Byrds, Grateful Dead, Gye Whiz, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Skip Spence, etc. GREAT & LOOONG OUT OF PRINT!  Shadoks LP’s usually get very expensive once they become unavailable, so it’s likely that the sooner you get this the better.

 

RECORD – NM

Unplayed, to my knowledge.  I bought several of these direct from Shadoks & they all came in resealable plastic sleeves rather than sealed shrinkwrap(?).  Looks beautiful & should sound as wonderful as the my playing copy. NUMBERED 5 out of 350!

 

COVER – EX

Unfortunate corner crease/bump in lower-left (1”), otherwise beautiful & new.

Unless sealed, LP's are shipped with the record removed from cover to prevent seam-splitting in transit.  LP & cover are placed alongside eachother in a plastic outer sleeve.  I use thick, corrugated cardboard mailers & flat cushions by Bags Unlimited.

 

INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I will not be responsible for uninsured items damaged or lost in transit.

I use the following grades conservatively: NM, EX, VG+ & VG.  I rarely bother to list anything deserving of a grade below VG.
