35% of my rare albums have been shipped to the following countries: AUSTRALIA, AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, CANADA, DENMARK, ENGLAND, FINLAND, FRANCE, GERMANY, ISRAEL, ITALY, JAPAN, NETHERLANDS, RUSSIA, SLOVAKIA, SOUTH KOREA, SPAIN, SWEDEN, SWITZERLAND AND THAILAND, with the remaining 65% staying in the UNITED STATES.
Most of the albums you will be viewing are from my 50+ year old collection and are original issues. Sometimes I include albums given to me or purchased from friends or relatives. I do not go to swap meets, garage sales, or thrift stores. I do go to record conventions as time permits. You will be bidding for very rare, original issue and quality albums. Sometime I will list rare re-issues or later pressings. They will be stated as (re) in the listing. I use Goldmine Standard Catalog as a grading guideline and tend to get conservative.

All records are played through prior to listing for accurate grading.
GRADING GUIDELINES!(NM or NM-) NM records are shiny with no visible defects such as writing, stickers or spindle marks on the labels. The album cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any signs of human handling. It also will have no ring wear.
(VG+) or (Excellent) May show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK. The cover might be marred by a cutout marking, small hole punch, a cut in the spine or a promotional stamp and even a tiny bit of ring wear.
(VG) Will have more obvious flaws such as lack of gloss, groove wear, light scratches and needle marks. When played there will be surface noise that will not overpower the music overall. Noise in the passages, between songs is common. The cover may have minor seam splits, writing, tape, stickers, ring wear and scuffs.
(VG-) Just a compounding of the VG category. Many obvious flaws but if the record is rare, may very well be worthwhile. I usually do not list records lower than the above grades.
Remember, when you are bidding, most of these records are usually 50+ years old and have been out of print for a very long time. When you consider that, damage, loss, and normal use or wear has reduced the market to the point that few of these wonderful treasures are even available today.

FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION: Purchased new, played just once and stored away many moons ago, you are bidding for one of the rarest albums in my collection, a 1957 limited first pressing of Dance The Rock & Roll and a nicer copy you will not find! This rare find was recorded on the Atlantic Label 8013 in High Fidelity. This is the deep groove Black Label with Silver Print. The 52 year old thick album cover is in beautiful condition. There are no seam splits, discoloration, ring wear, writing, tape, tears, scuffs or wrinkles, just a small crease in the upper left corner. (Notice the Rock and Dinner Roll on the cover) thus Rock & Roll). A superb display for the collector looking for rarity and a one of a kind. The liner notes in back are as nice as the cover and there is no discoloration. The very thick, deep groove record has been cared for and the labels are mint, no spindle marks. The record was inspected under a 100 watt light. There were no scratches, scuffs or groove lines, just a couple of paper cuts from removing this beauty from the sleeve. When played it was like listening to a new record. . The songs include; Side 1, Gator's Groove (Willis Jackson and his Orchestra), Hey Tiger (Chuck Calhoun and his Atlantic All-Stars), Jam-Up (Tommy Ridgley and his Orchestra), WOW (Joe Morris and his Orchestra), Mr. POGO (Arnett Cobb and his Orchestra), Gone After Hours (Frank Culley and his Orchestra featuring Van "Piano Man" Walls). Side 2, Light Like That (Arnett Cobb and his Orchestra), Weasel Walk (Joe Morris and his Orchestra), Culley Flower (Frank Culley and his Orchestra), Rock Rock Rock (Willis Jackson and his Orchestra), Hop N' Twist (Frank Culley and his Orchestra), Barrel House (Chuck Calhoun and his Atlantic All-Stars), Midnight Special (Tiny Grimes Quintet). This is one powerful example of what those Rock & Roll and Rhythm & Blues bands of the 50's could do to make the music hop. Just tremendous and based on the Goldmine Guide, the album is graded NM-, the quality of the listening experience MINT and the record NM. There is no reserve.
