Bedemon-Child of darkness lp (Doom Records,USA)
Bedemon were a fantastic heavy psych band from Virginia,USA who recorded some great stuff from 1971 to 1974 before they transform into the legendary Pentagram.Very heavy psych rock sound with acid distored yet technical guitar work and astonishing vocals.Their heaviness could be compared to Black Sabbath,although they were still very original and with their own unique style.Both 70's heavy/psych rock collectors and today's doom metal afficionados will love this.
These recordings had never seen the light of the day until 1998,when Doom Records pressed this record in very limited quantities.(Later they were re-released by Black Widow,but remixed and remastered (with an almost "plastic" sound) and in a silly cover.This is the original first issue,with the original recordings,on marble purple vinyl and that fantastic wrap-around psych sleeve.Long sold out and very rare these days!
