Gold/Cream label.

Side 1: FAUST.

Side 2: GRETCHEN.

Side 3: MEPHISTOPHILES & FINAL CHORUS.

Side 4: SYMPHONIC POEM: ORPHEUS.

First press Gold/Cream label.

Play grades as EX and better across all 4 sides. 

Sides 1 & 2 have a little crackle in the run in areas, for a few seconds, that just leak into the music. Side 1 has x3 light 'clicks' at about the 2 minute mark and side 2 has x7 tics from the mark mentioned below. Sides 2 & 3 have a little light crackle in the run in areas. All four sides have isolated single tics here and there.

When tilted under normal lighting all 4 sides appear unmarked. 

When examined under halogen lights all 4 sides once again appear unmarked except for a couple of small, very faint marks on side 1 and a 1.5 cm. very faint mark in the centre of side 2.

Has a little staining on the labels [possibly from water].

Front laminated 3-flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves grade as EX.

Poly-lined 'EMITEX' inner sleeves grade as EX.

The records have been placed in new Nagaoka 102 Anti-Static sleeves before being replaced in the 'EMITEX' sleeve.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.
