Beethoven:  The 9th Symphony

rare German first press vinyl 2LP box set released in the early 1960s on "TULIP" DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) stereo label with ALLE HERSTELLER and catalognumbers SLPM 138807/808. This is the version with two seperate stereo LP covers feat. the "RED STEREO" logos plus the plum clothbound presentation box with gold imprint lettering. The box, record sleeves and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect!  Best set I have seen in years...  Highly acclaimed 1962 performances by Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality. Don't miss this fantastic set... see photo.
