Description
BEGGAR'S OPERA- ACT ONE- VERTIGO
ARTIST.............. BEGGAR'S OPERA
TITLE............ ACT ONE
CAT NUMBER............ 6360018
FORMAT............ ORIGINAL UK 12" VINYL LP.
A VERY FIRST PRESS AS INDICTAED BY THE MATRIX OF 1Y-1 AND 2Y-1. THIS RECORD IS MUCH SOUGHT AFTER BY FANS OF PROGRESSIVE MUSIC.
The key features of this lp are summarised below:
Sleeve- Gatefold with some corner and edge wear.Has price sticker scuffs top left front.Other minor marks front and back.
The inside has similar marks. The spine is clean.Overall- Respectable and still strong for its age.
Inner-The record is held in its original SWIRL bag inner. This shows creases but is otherwise clean and strong.
Labels- Clean showing only spindle marks.
Vinyl- STILL RETAINS A SOME GLOSS AND SHINE TO BOTH SIDES.There are some hairlines and marks-some more noticable without light.
Playback- PLAYS WITHOUT SKIP OR JUMP.
In fact I thought playback was really nice.
Side 2- Minor crackle and odd ticks at the start-otherwise a great sound with little interference.
Side 1- Heavier crackle and ticks at the start.Other odd minor ticks but overall the vast majority of the side plays well
A VERY rare record AND a great one to own.Not to be missed. VERY hard to find.
