On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Beggars Opera called "Pathfinder" and is an ORIGINAL 1972 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Vertigo 'Spiral' label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS ON THE VERTIGO LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1972 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION (WITH A BRILLIANT RECORD!) - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1972 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS VERTIGO 'SPIRAL' LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FOLD-OUT 'POSTER' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK Vertigo 1st Pressing from 1972 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 6360 073 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo 'Spiral' Label (see picture) and is a UK 1972 Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as almost STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition and still FULLY 'poly lined'!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Fold-Out' Poster Cover is in GREAT condition overall!!!!  Though I MUST stress that this is one Vertigo LP where 2nd Pressings have EXACTLY the same cover, and this cover can be upgraded very VERY cheaply indeed!!!!  That said the Cover still looks VERY presentable indeed, with NO sticker marks, NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO sticker tears, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO ringwear, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  However, there a few issues on this cover.  Firstly there are some 'touching in' traces to parts of some of the seams - which is actually VERY minor indeed and not easily noticed!!!!  Secondly the cover is badly pressed - and the edges don't meet up properly at all when folded.  Now I have seen this on a LOT of these covers, and it either suggests bad manufacture (very likely) or trimming to the edges (unlikely as the edges do have fractional feathering).  And lastly one of the previous owners also decided to 'bolster' the cover in certain seams on the REVERSE with a few TINY cardboard backings.  Now I don't know ANYONE who looks at the back of the cover - so this is only a very VERY minor detail indeed!!!!  There is also NO pinholes, NO tack marks, and it is VERY clear that this cover has NEVER been used as a poster!!!!  Normally I would grade this cover an EASY Very Good++ if not better - as it looks very VERY decent indeed!!!!  However, as the previous owner (or owners - I have no history with this LP), has mucked about with the reverse of the cover (even though no one ever looks at the back of the cover anyway!) I will drop the grading to Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY presentable cover indeed!!!!  But as I said - it is very VERY easy to upgrade this cover very VERY cheaply indeed - but finding a 100% UK 1ST PRESS RECORD with the Vertigo 'Spiral' label is very VERY hard indeed, as barely ANY were ever made!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
