BEHEMOTH - And The Forests Dream Eternally LP (clear vinyl)
This 2 guys from Gdansk Nergal & Baal Ravenlock released their first 5 track EP
''And The Forests Dream Eternally'' in August 1995 under to this time their rather unknown bandname BEHEMOTH.
The sound of the 25 minutes still very pure black metallic matter sounds natural, but still somewhere clear and balanced.
The playing on the instruments is rather simple and Nergal's voice is still free from effects and duplications, instead raw, scratchy & a little gurgling, not entirely unlike the organ of ISVIND's Goblin.
So ''And The Forests Dream Eternally'' is a cold, quite Norwegian-looking work that would probably have been better off in December than in August. With ''Pure Evil And Hate'' is already a live still often performed track included, which was intended primarily as a tribute to BATHORY.
Here is the 2018 reissue of the vinyl with the ''Bewitching The Pomerania'' EP as bonus tracks. Comes in clear wax in gatefold cover.
