Description

1947 Columbia records Hot Jazz Classic #20, c-144, 4 disc set with cover art by Jim Fora, the cover is VG+ totally functionally sound with no rips or tears in the tape along the spine or any of the 4 individual jackets inside the jacket. The liner notes are extremely legible and the paper is white and clean, the same is true of the back inside of the cover, there is some yellowing along the edge of the front and a little wear along the bottom of the jacket. The disc's themselves are VG using standards set for vinyl (I usually sell 33's but this was too nice to pass up) with a good sheen but some light surface scuffing of the kind that should not affect the sound of these too greatly. I have a 78 player that may be used to play rate if it still works but will wait for a request to do so rather than  take any chances with this set. The songs are  "Wringin and Twistin" "Way Down Yonder In New Orleans" "Clarinet Marmalade" "Singin The Blues" "Take Your Tomorrow" "Baby, Won't You Please Come Home" "Riverside Shuffle" and "Ostrich Walk". This is an outstanding set with some great Flora art work, good luck and happy bidding. I am going to be listing some great items over the next couple of months so keep a sharp eye out, thanks Steve.
