Description
BELLADONNA - Ian Carr - 1972 Vertigo original swirl LP
The time has come to bite the bullet and sell more of my vinyl collection - some classical, some jazz, some pop, rock, folk & psych. I know it won't be appreciated by my daughter or the next generation, so I'm shifting it myself and hope I find good homes for it. The hard work is deciding what to let go first, but it will probably be duplicates, stuff I have on CD and items unplayed for ages. You never know, there might just be something to suit your taste.

The Album:
Acid jazz from the Nucleus man sounding like the Nucleus man.
Condition:
Cover: Gatefold sleeve, unlaminated, top-loading (depending which way you hold it). It is solid and intact, but there is some wear to the edges and spine and it's a bit grubby on the 'sky' near the opening edge. Overall it's in decent order for its age, with no tears.
Labels: Original Veretigo swirl labels, bright and clean. A few spindle marks, no writing or stickers.
Vinyl: Nice glossy vinyl with good lustre. Side A has a light scratch about an inch long and a couple of other scuffs. It plays with some light background crackling and the occasional light pop, but nothing particularly intrusive. Side B has no obvious marks apart from customary paper scuffs but also has some crackling in quieter passages. Overall I'd say the package plays VG to VG+. I have never attempted to clean this album, and as with all records of this age there's every chance that a professional grade clean might be beneficial.
Overall:
A decent copy of this rare album - I'd guess that this might be professionally graded at (cover / vinyl) VG/VG+.
