Description
BEN CARRUTHERS & THE DEEP
'JACK O'DIAMONDS b/w RIGHT BEHIND YOU'
MADE IN Gt BRITAIN
PARLOPHONE R5295
7XCE 18685
Ben Carruthers created this song based upon the liner notes Dylan had penned for the sleevenotes of his 'Another Side Of Bob Dylan' album.
Ben Carruthers (as well as being an actor) had worked as a secretary for Dylan's manager Albert Grossman and it's believed this connection made the whole thing possible. The single was quickly withdrawn.
It is also strongly rumoured to feature Jimmy Page and Nicky Hopkins.
Vinyl and Labels are VG+.
It plays well, no jumps or skips, but has some surface noise and a few clicks and pops.
Sleeve is original but only VG. Creased and has split to one side.
I always package the records well, in proper card mailers with stiffeners either side. The vinyl will be sent in a replacement sleeve to protect the original. I generally send the day after payment has arrived in my Paypal account.
International bidders are very welcome.
ALL MY LISTINGS ARE COVERED BY EBAY & PAYPAL BUYER & SELLER PROTECTION GUIDELINES.
Note:
All photographs are of the actual record I'm selling - not stock photos.
