Up for auction is a factory sealed,unplayed,mint original copy of the rare Cardas Record  CR 5818 :Ben Harper and Tom Freund-Pleasure and Pain.This is also Ben Harper's first record,it was released in 1992 in a limited quantity of 1500 copies.Hard to find nowadays in this condition(and it is also my last sealed copy!).George Cardas states in an interview:"It took just over 45 minutes to record the album,it is to the day one of the most magical musical moments,the one you dream will happen but never do." A true audiophile masterpiece pressed on 180 gram high quality virgin vinyl.The recording is incredibly natural with no overdubs, and the sound quality is extraordinary.George Cardas developed the cables and microphones used for the recording,he also recorded(on a Studer A-80 tape-recorder),engineered and produced the session.Mastered by the legendary Doug Sax!Musically based in the folkblues/countryblues-genre,but the special “Ben Harper-magic” is already there and this recording led to Ben’s signing by VIRGIN records.

Comment:I have sold 2 sealed copies on Ebay before(in 2005 and 2006)-both customers were 100 % satisfied-this is my last sealed copy!
