This auction is for the following vinyl LP :
BEN- Same- One of the rarest Vertigo swirl label LP's ever! This is on VERTIGO 6360 052 with machine printed matrix cat.# 6360052-A / B.
Please bear in mind. this is NOT the original UK pressing in laminated gatefold cover. This one is NON-laminated and has different colours in the front cover.
"BEN" is a major rarity of the UK Jazzy progressive scene, and probably one of the rarest on the Vertigo label. The music is exquisite Canterbury jazz-rock style with long tracks and rich in ideas. Comes in a non-laminated gatefold cover that has a sticker mark and general ringwear traces. The gatefold cover grades VG+(+) because of the sticker mark and some ringwear line which could most likely be cleaned. Vinyl is superb MINT- condition with barely visible paper-scuffs from placing and removing the vinyl from its sleeve. Looks barely played and i doubt it you will want to upgrade! and hairlines.
PS: This is EXACTLY the same pressing as the item number 200342945325 which sold recently for $571.
Not sure if it's Canadian ,US,UK or GERMAN or the rare limited itatian pirate from the 80's. I would say it's most likely the Italian pirate edition.
In any case, this is a superb cover variation, & the only one i've seen in years of collecting. I will let you be the judge of the value of the item in question, so i list it with 35$ and no reserve.. Highest bidder takes it all!
