BENNIE GREEN “Back on the Scene” FIRST PRESSING Blue Note 1587 mono Vinyl

This is the 1958, Deep Groove, Laminated Jacket, FIRST PRESSING, RVG stamped, P pressing of BENNIE GREEN’s “Back on the Scene” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 1587.

VINYL has good gloss and a handful of hairline marks, a couple feelable. Plays with consistent light surface noise, aka static, with pops and ticks. PRIMARILY beneath the music. Some ticks/pops repeat, some pops and ticks are loud. Some "swooshes" (Side 2, Track 1). Because this is a first pressing Blue Note, the music signal remains powerful. No distortion. No skips. The Deep Groove “47 West 63rd” labels show normal aging, spindle marks. See photos.

Laminated cover is CLEAN. Corners worn. Seams and spine solid. Back jacket shows DAMAGE. See photos.
