COVER CONDITION:  Stunning NM! (Spine is perfect- see pic!! Minimal discoloration and writing on back seem to be it's only flaws; sturdy, full gloss; lovely!!)

VINYL CONDITION: NM (labels are beautiful; writing in black ink on one of them- see pic; vinyl is gorgeous!!)

DETAILS:  Really an amazingly well-preserved LP from 1956! Yellow deep groove labels w/ the trumpet player logo. Cover art by David Stone Martin. Comes with the original wax inner sleeve, which is completely intact. Gorgeous!!

"This long out-of-print LP from the 1950s showcases altoist Benny Carter in two very different settings. Side one finds him interpreting ballads in front of a string section while the flip side matches Carter with the Oscar Peterson Trio and drummer J.C. Heard.
