Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INCREDIBLY RARE John Golden mastered Rainbo first reissue on Light In The Attic (even thought the label says Bryan Records) from 2003 issued in a single sleeve (the 2010 and 2016 pressings came in a gatefold cover) with NO lower label rim text and RARE unique original hype sticker on the inner sleeve that doesn't match ANY of the three pressings listed in Discogs. THAT'S how you know it's rare. LP is a gorgeous VG++/NM-. Cover is VG+/VG++ with barely a hint of ring. Even has the original custom barcoded Reckless Records (represent, Chicago!) info labels on the outer poly sleeve dated May of 2007 from when I purchased this rarity almost 19 years ago(!) at their Wicker Park location. A high grade copy with airtight provenance and unique hype sti-cker that can be traced to the exact month and point of purchase. THIS is what collecting is about so don't sleep funk collectors.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
