DJM LABEL 1971 FIRST UK PRESSING WITH GARROD & LOFTHOUSE PATENTS PENDING FULLY TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in 1971 on the DJM label, I am offering today this first UK pressing of this classic album by BERNIE TAUPIN which is simply titled "TAUPIN". The album features some great musicians including CALEB QUAYE and SHAWN PHILLIPS.
The vinyl looks extremely clean and plays excellent free from sticks or skips etc. You will go a long way to find a cleaner vinyl.
The album comes complete with fully textured gatefold sleeve which is very respectable VG. It has no splits or tears or unwanted writing etc but does show some edge wear.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely, there was some light background noise but no pops and needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks very clean & audibly plays with excellent audio. It plays with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc but there was some light crackle to be heard occasionally, but overall this is an excellent playing example.
The SLEEVE, The Garrod & Lofthouse fully textured gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. There are no splits or stickers etc but is showing wear to the edges and corners.
The LABELS, The DJM labels are very clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The generic white inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
