ÜBER-RARE MOTORHEAD 12" WHITE LABEL 1988 DANCE REMIX
This is not the Ace of Spades remix. This is one of a handful of test pressings made in 1988.
SHORT SALE - MOVING SEATTLE WITHIN THE MONTH!!! Provenance...... Once upon a time in about 1988 I was in a 'new kids on the block' 80's boy-band. We had a pending gig at the London Hippodrome and our Manager at the time Chris arranged for us to go and soak up the vibes one afternoon. He said he also had a meeting with none other than the wonderful Lemmy.
When we arrived the stage had lots of topless models parading around and our Manager explained that there was a Sun page 3 event on.
Chris explained that he was also promoting a Motörhead white label 12" remix and would we like to meet Lemmy - would we ever!!
We walked to the front of the stage where Lemmy was admiring the view.
Our Manager introduced us and the following short but fantastic conversation that I can remember word for word took place:
Chris: "So, Lemmy, did you get the white label remix I sent?" Lemmy: "Yes" (looking at the stage) Chris: "What did you think?" Lemmy: "Fucking terrible!" (looking at the stage) Long silence, worried looks exchanged between band members and Manager......then, as if sensing the tension..... Lemmy: (turning and pointing at Chris)"But if it's a hit.....we'll talk"
The record features several Lemmy samples including: "I don't wanna live forever" "That's the way I like it" "Overkill" "Eat the Rich"

The record is in excellent condition with no scratches at all.
Side A: 12" vocal club mix Side B: 2 x 12" mixes (mostly instrumental)
