Description
This is a beautiful copy of the very rare UK import LP by Bert Jansch (later of Pentangle) entitled "Jack Orion" released in 1966 as #TRA 143 [this is on the original Tranatlantic label featuring a white label with the light purple letter 't' and the globe that surrounds the spindle hole]. The LP is in really nice condition overall: the record itself plays mint to mint minus; there is a small smudge mark on the first track that does not affect play at all and the record is otherwise shiny black. The cover is perfectly intact but there is a slight crease in the lower right hand corner of the front that extends to the lower right of the back; the cover has the matte finish and the laminate that gives it the rough matte texture has one small area where it is slightly detached from the jacket itself (not peeling at all but slightly separated from the cardboard it is still completely attached to). There is no ringwear whatsoever but the shape of the LP beneath is ever so slightly raised. Tracks include "The Wagoner's Lad", "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", "Nottamun Town", "Black Waterside", the title track and others. John Renbourn accompanies Bert Jansch on four tracks.
