Description
DERRICK HARRIOTT - BEST OF Vol 2 ISLAND ALBUM
This beauty doesn't turn up very often. The Best of Derrick Harriott Volume 2 on Island Records ILP983 from 1968.
Side one is Derrick singing: Tang tang Festival Song, Born To Love You, My Last Letter, Another Lonely Night, Do I Worry and Solomon. While side two is all instrumental from The Crystalites: Bag A Wire, Illya Kuryakin, Try A Little Tenderness, Ann Marie, Patricia and James Ray. It's nearly all classy Rocksteady with just the odd slowie thrown in.
The album and sleeve are in superb condition. The sleeve is an easy EX while the disc is EX+ with a tiny press mark at the start of side one causing 4 pops and a very vague play mark on side two. I like to be accurate and I'm sure you will not be disappointed with the condition.

Tons of top tunes from 1960 through to 1985 set sale and occasional auction. Ska to skinhead and beyond to roots and dub.
