Stunningly beautiful album from Betty Blake. A very rare UK pressing on the gold parlophone label. Only one has sold before....and that sold in one day on eBay. This rare press of the US Bethlehem release isn’t even listed anywhere.

Mono only pressing.


This UK press has an amazing write up on the reverse sleeve from Nigel hunter that was not on any other release.


A stellar line up of musicianship here....Zoot Sims, kenny Burrell, ed shaughnessy, teddy Charles, Marcus belgrave, mal Waldron, Addison farmer, eustis guilement and Charles Persip.

What’s more....this copy is in stunning shape. A beautiful gloss. No creases, flip back Ernest j day sleeve. Clean and bright reverse sleeve. Bright gold parlophone labels that do not show any signs of spindle wear. Glossy sheen to the record itself...very very minor wispy surface marks due to....well, existing since 1962. Original crispy inner sleeve. A stunning thing. I would grade as a strong ex. Many would grade higher...but I have to be careful. Either way...as a buyer...you will not be disappointed.
