BETTY BUCKLEY & ROBERT DUVALL HAND-SIGNED “TENDER MERCIES” LASER DISC (E)!!
1983’s “Tender Mercies” won a Best Actor Oscar for Robert Duvall who played a washed up country singer trying to out his personal and professional lives back together, often thwarted in the process by his superstar ex-wife played by Betty Buckley. Here we have the Laser Disc version of that movie in Excellent (E) condition hand-signed by both stars. Duvall signed it in black Sharpie at a screening of “To Kill A Mockingbird” in which he played “Boo Radley” at the American Cinematheque’s Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, Ca. over ten years ago. Betty hand-signed the laser disc in black Sharpie more recently when she starred in the musical, “Grey Gardens,” which played the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.. The disc is inscribed “To Bill Love, Betty Buckley.” (Ms. Buckley is well known never to disappoint her fans when they ask for an autograph,)
