Description

Original Scranton Pa Capitol Records LP first pressing from 1973 on the Just Sunshine record label, Cult Funk Artist Betty Davis self-titled first
 recording. Progressive hard funk, wonderful music. Rare very early pressing. Neal Schon, Larry Graham Jr., Sylvester, and the Pointer Sisters 
are on many of the songs. Schon later co-founded Journey the same year. Graham, ex-Sly and Family Stone bassist, invented the slapping
 technique. Horn section of Tower of Power was on this album also. Betty was 2nd ex-wife of jazz legend Miles Davis. Vinyl record plays well with
 surface noise, not too bad due to the loudness of recordings, with no skips. Name on one side of label, see pics. Rate a solid VG Minus.
Cover with name on front, kind of rough shape, see pics, but no definitive splits with spine and seams intact, rate as G to G+. Catalog JSS-5.
Matrix/runout (etched) JSS 5A-2 and JSS 5B-2. triangular "IAM" label stamped.
