Description
Beverly Kenney – Born To Be Blue black label mono “*A special thanks to Ellis Larkins at the piano who appears on all selections.” Stamped mg 6862T2 2 , mg 6863T2 2 (indicating this is a drop out variant not listed on Discogs that has a black label.)
The disc has more than three light scuffs or scratches. They aren’t overwhelming the playback. Three are no deep (feelable) marks, no skipping or warping. Many spindle marks but not a lot of surface noise. There is a slight clipping sound on “go away my love” in the middle of the track and at the end. There are no feelable scratches. The cover has splitting at the top and bottom seam at the opening. (1cm split at the bottom and 4-5 inches at the top.)
There is corner creasing. Vibrant colors no note loss and no foxing detected.
Amazing album. High quality vocals and back-up orchestration. * not Rock n Roll
