Real Brothas is the first and only studio album by the Compton duo BG Knocc Out & Dresta, released in 1995. Hailing from the streets of Compton, the two blood brothers quickly made a name for themselves in the West Coast scene through their authenticity, street credibility, and their close connection to the legendary Eazy-E.

BG Knocc Out & Dresta first caught national attention in 1993 with their appearance on “Real Muthaphuckkin G's”, Eazy-E's infamous diss track aimed at Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Their sharp verses and strong affiliation with Eazy-E positioned them as rising figures within the Compton rap movement.

Real Brothas fits perfectly within the golden era of West Coast rap, blending raw street narratives, declarations of loyalty, and the fierce musical rivalries typical of the 90s. The album draws heavily on the G-Funk sound, with deep basslines, melodic synthesizers, and smooth yet heavy funk-influenced production, echoing the sonic landscape popularized by Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, and Above The Law.
