Description

Rare LP recorded near Birmingham, released by a Chicago company. The 45 from it, Let the Music Play, you see once in a while but the LP hardly ever turns up for sale. B'HAM RHYTHM SECTION S/T LP BLACK KAT RECORDS ((B.K. LP 111648) MEGA RARE ! I can't find a single piece of information on this LP, plenty of info on the 'I've Been Lonely/Music Play' 45, but nothing on the LP. Produced by A.D. Cummins for Hemphill.Vinyl::::NM  Super clean, seemingly unplayed. Cover:::NM Still in shrink, with MINOR wear at the opening. The yellowing is on the shrink wrap. This features three tracks with the anonymous soul singer ((two from the 45, and one unreleased monster titled 'Hit The Ball'....take a listen below.)) The rest of the tracks are sung by Jerry William plus other members of the band, and tend to be more of a Southern Rock/Boogie feel.  TRACK LISTING Side A 1. I've Been Lonely For Song 2. Hit The Ball 3. Sidelines 4. Got On Home To You 5. Wendy Daze Side B 1. Let The Music Play 2. One and Only 3. Farm Out 4. Southward Bound 5. Midnite Run BAND CREDITS Jerry William--Lead Vocalist A.D. Pilleteri--Moog, Keyboard, Lead & Back Ground Vocals Sam Irvin--Lead Guitarist, Acoustics, Background Vocals Feel free to contact me with any questions. Good luck !
