In 1983, I was the store manager for the Record Exchange on Dempster St. in Evanston, IL. Please see the last photo in this series from back then. Great times, Great music!

I was friends with Steve Albini. He brought this record to me at the shop as a gift ( and he told me that I would always be on his 'guest list' ! )

It has been in my collection ever since and now it is time to part with it. It has never been played and this is the first time I took out all the inserts and stuff inside to photograph. I am well known in Chicago. Since 1986, I have owned my own used record and bookstore "Shake Rattle & Read" in Uptown, Chicago.

Most of you already know this is one of 200 copies that Steve put out with an acid-etched steel/metal cover.

It is the 6 song EP  "Bulldozer" and plays at 45rpm.

Side 1: In the 'deadwax' "still not a disco mix' & 311063X-A

Side 2: In the 'deadwax' "simply ridiculous" & 311063X-B

There is a 12" X 12" full color cardboard flat of the Bulldozer record cover.

There are two paper inserts:  A single sheet with the liner notes.
And a 2 sided flyer of offerings from Fever/Ruthless Records advertising a mail order for some of their records....Bonemen of Barumba,Book of Lies,Effigies,Naked Raygun,Big Black & Circle Seven.

There is a 2ft by 3ft poster of some whacked out folks in a nursing home with the Big Black band members names and photos in the 4 corners.

The record is mint. The cover is mint. the poster is mint. etc etc etc. This has just been on my home shelf for the last 27 years.

SUPER RARE - SCARCE AND HARD TO FIND.

I looked this record up on Popsike.com . Some have sold for $400 and some have sold for over $700. So I am going to start the bidding tonight at $399.00.

Buyer is responsible for $18.00 PRIORITY Mail shipping.  That postage cost includes delivery confirmation and insurance.

OVERSEAS customers must pay for PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL shipping. Cost is $50.00. That postage cost includes up to $500.00 in Insurance.

I will not ship this 1st class mail international. It cannot be tracked that way.
