ULTRA-RARE CLASSIC BIG BOPPER ORIGINAL 1959 FIRST PRESSING "CHANTILLY LACE" LP IN VG++ CONDITION! THIS WAS THE ONLY ALBUM EVER RELEASED FROM J.P. RICHARDSON A.K.A. "THE BIG BOPPER".

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE LP THAT GOLDMINE GUIDE VALUES AT $350.00 IN VG++ CONDITION!!!

This is the original 1959 pressing on the black Mercury Label with silver print, #MG- 20402



The record sleeve is in EX++ condition. There is no splitting on any of the seams, the spine is clean and readable. There are some very minor dings as shown and which are typical for an album of this age. The liner notes are perfectly readable and clean. There is no evidence of any ring wear what so ever. The cover has almost all, if not all, of it's original gloss. (It's only seen the light of day a handful of times since it was first purchased). There are no stickers anywhere on the album cover, and there is no writing.



I have examined the disc under bright light and do see some extremely light scuffs/hairline scratches, all typical of any vinyl album that's been played a time or two. These scuffs do not affect the playability or sound quality of the album at all. There is one small scratch on side 2 over the last song that is slightly raised; the last time the album was played this scratch did not cause the album to skip or add background crackle. Please note that these photos were taken under strong light and with a macro setting; in real life you can barely see the scuffs that the flash highlighted. Such is the nature of photographing vinyl.
