Description

Here we have a beautiful copy of Cheap Thrills by Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring vocals by Janis Joplin (and how!) on the CBS label. It's a British pressing in a cover by Ernest J.Day and Co. Ltd.Sorry about the glare from the flash in the picture. There's a big sticker saying STEREO on the back plus a little red dot, no idea what that signifies. It's laminated on the front, just stopping before the spine, which has some minor rubbing. The dead wax matrices end in A1 and B2 so it may give you an idea of the record's age. The vinyl is in superb condition with clean, clear sounding grooves and the label is roughly textured with concentric rings. Take a look at the groovy inner bag too. Excellent artwork by the genius that is Robert Crumb. Wailing at you all the way from 1968, this is about as good as it gets. Fill your boots.
