Original RARE US first pressing of "Let `Em Roll" by Big John Patton, issued on Blue Note Records (1966).
Featuring the soulful playing and expert musical interaction of Big John Patton (organ), Grant Green (guitar), Bobby Hutcherson (vibes) and Otis Finch (drums).  The latin-jazz inspired lilt of "Latona" was a special treat to this writer`s ears: Simply lovely.
"This is one of the least appreciated of Big John Patton`s records and there`s no reason for it; it is great", writes Thom Jurek in his album review for allmusic.com.
GRADING:
EX+ COVER with light general wear. Please see photos for details.
- Sleeve has a small punch-hole at top, center. The previous owner literally strung some of his favourite records up in his student pad;    "Let `Em Roll" was one of them.
- Superficial corner bend (at bottom left).
- Lightest beginnings of ring-scuffing to front sleeve only.
- Also includes custom-printed Blue Note inner sleeve announcing then-current (1966) releases. Excellent undamaged condition.

EX+ RECORD, visually in near-perfect MINT- condition.
- A single, barely visible scuff (3" in length; across side one) is completely inaudible.
- Light sporadic background crackle, mainly between tracks and in some quiet passages ("The Shadow Of Your Smile").

NOTE: This record comes from an extensive, single-owner collection of progressive and folk-rock records we recently acquired.  These records were all bought at the time of initial release (1960-1970). Most are original UK or US first pressings. Due to the  size of the collection, most of the records were played a few times only: They will be found to be in the appropriate condition.
