BIG MAMA THORNTON SCARCE OZ PRESTIGE/PRESLEY=HOUND DOG
One of the crown jewels of the great Oz Prestige label. The (a) side needs no comment. The (b) side is driving rhythm & blues where she is backed by the Johnny Otis group and features strong guitar and sax breaks. The (a) side is EX. The (b) side has some light feathering and visually is somewhere around VG+ but I assure you that both sides play loud and clear. Labels are EX. Where it all began.
CONDITION WISE:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks. .
