Description

Hi, you are bidding on the following record:
Biggy Twiggy Band - Mama Won't Let You b/w I Don't Want That to Change (Westmount Records, Canada, 197?)
Unknown / undiscovered 70s funk/soul 45 from Calgary, Alberta! First time offered for public sale. Likely because the Westmount label mostly put out country records. It's strange to see this total dancefloor filler sneak under their radar. "Mama Won't Let You" has a nice 70s funk sound with great falsetto vocals. A real dancer! The flip, "I don't Want That to Change," is a smooth upbeat 70s soul ballad with a great horn section and vocals.
Skip Pollard moved to Calgary in 1971 and formed the Biggy Twiggy Band to tour between Thunder Bay and Vancouver. They released this one lone 45. Digging in Alberta for over 10 years I've only seen two of these and the other is cracked (I get to file the cracked one). Stock of this 45 was not found at the Westmount Records source so this is the only copy up for grabs! Bid accordingly!

This week I'm listing a small list of random obscurities. All originals (no reissues). Check out my other items!
Condition of Vinyl A-Side:  NM (Near Mint) Unplayed store-stock copy.   Condition of Vinyl B-Side:  NM (Near Mint) Unplayed store-stock copy.
GRADING I grade audibly and visually using the goldmine scale as a template. Grades are very strong. Bid with confidence. SS :: Still in the factory seal. For European records this sometimes includes "re-sealable flip tops."  NM :: Highest grade. No audible flaws and at most one or two very, very faint sleeve scuffs visible only under the brightest light. EX :: No audible flaws but vinyl may have a few visible scuffs. VG + :: Vinyl may have visible scuffs and some faint/light surface noise in very few parts (or in between tracks) but not more than 15-20% of the record is flawed in this manner. A very strong and playable grade. My VG+ is much stronger than most sellers. VG :: Vinyl may have visible scuffs and some surface noise in parts but no more than a couple pops. Record will be enjoyable and may even be a file copy, but the most stringent collector may want to upgrade in the future. VG- :: Vinyl has visible scuffs and surface noise. Some pops and maybe a skip. A listenable record. G :: Vinyl is playable but has some major visible and audible wear. Used only for very rare records.
