Description

What It Is:
 This is a 2 LP super high-fidelity release of the Bill Evan Trio's Sunday at the Village Vanguard featuring Scott La Faro (who was tragically killed in an automobile accident 10 days after this recording). The original release of this record was in 1961. This release was pressed by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in 2017 using their "one-step" production chain, which, along with this 45 RPM pressing, makes for the highest fidelity release of this album. This pressing sold out immediately. I'm the original owner, and only opened the box to verify that the records have no defects (they don't) -- I never played it. It is # 0178 (out of 3000). Even the original shrink-wrap is included. Note that the only defects are 1" seam splits at the top of both jackets for the LPs -- there's no sign of damage to the box. It's worth noting that if you purchase a sealed copy you cannot be sure that the jackets *or* records are without flaws. It has been stored carefully in a dark, dry, temperature-controlled environment.

    Grading:

    All items are visually graded, and if they've been play graded that will be noted. I follow Goldmine grading standards. My grading is conservative, at least as good as I would expect from anyone that I would buy from.
