Description
BILL EVANS TRIO's Explorations on Riverside #RLP-351, High Fidelity pressing. NOT DG - Microgroove - Bill Grauer production inc New Yord City on Label - Catalogue number is hand etched in run-off groove, as well as a clear RI and a 5. The address on the jacket is 235 W 46th St New York, 36, N.Y. There is a circle stamp containing the letters OP on the back under the catalogue number (?) Other than this NOT being a DG pressing, it appears to be an original mono. If anyone can shed light on the variation, I'd appreciate the input.
The trio is Bill Evans on piano, Scott LaFaro on bass, and the recently departed Paul Motian on drums. A true classic!
