Description
For auction is the BILL EVANS TRIO's "Explorations," on Riverside RLP 351, MONO, DG, 1961.
SOUND: NM-
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. I was taken aback by the playback! Just beautiful! Very clean sound! (Which is so important on an Evans record!) Anyway, the playback is exceptional! That said, there are a few random tics here and there. Must be mentioned for completeness... unless you need a mint-condition record, you won't be disappointed!
VINYL: VG+/NM-
There are a few very faint hairline marks on either side, only noticeable under bright light. All appear superficial. The record is on deep-grooved, blue "mike-and-reel." The labels have light scuffs on them, otherwise not bad.
JACKET: VG
The jacket is very nice. The edges and spine are solid, with medium wear. The bottom center is frayed, beginning to split. Corners have an average touch of softening. Both front and back covers are very clean and unmarked. Only minor, routine wear or aging, very nice!

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
