Description

This is an Analogue Production Release #APJ 009.  The LP is pressed on 180 Gram vinyl.  The Limited Edition sequence number is 3820.

The original recording was done live at the Village Vanguard in New York City on June 25, 1961.  With Bill on this session are Scott LaFaro on bass and Paul Motian on drums.  This was Bill's first trio and some say his best!

Approximately 38 minutes of music on this session.

The LP is in EXCELLENT condition with just some minor smudges and surface marks.  The marks don't even appear to be scratches - they are just lightly faded for some reason, not sure why.  Neither of these issues affect the sound at all!  The label is CRISP and CLEAN with just a little bit of spindle marks (very minimal).  The jacket is CLEAN with a lot of its original shine - there is just very minimal wear on the corners.  The seams are NICE and TIGHT.  There are NO splits, signs of wear or fraying.  The LP comes in a static free rice paper inner sleeve.

This historic recording is a MUST HAVE for any collector.
