Description

RARE ORIGINAL STEREO LP BY BILL EVANS and his TRIO with SCOTT LaFARO ON BASS

SUNDAY AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD

Description: Here's my personal copy of Bill Evans' SUNDAY AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD---Riverside RLP 9376---Stereo, with Bill Evans, Piano,Scott LaFaro, bass, and Paul Motian, Drums; Recorded in NYC, live on June 25, 1961, . Liner notes by Ira Gitler; The vinyl LP has only been played a few times and kept in the original Riverside cover; I'm no expert on grading LP's, but you can tell this one is not mint: you can see slight streaking both sides of the disk when viewed in highly oblique light---but it seems superficial since I have listened to it through before listing it, and there are no skips, and the surface noise isn't obtrusive--I only played the record a few times, as I recall. The sleeve has moderate handling soil, including a 1 inch blob of brown at the top right of the front, which you can see. The spine is not split at all, and there's only moderate wear to the bottom.  It's been kept upright in my record cabinet since I purchased it in the 1960's; Lovely music, and a hard-to find record; I have several other Evans LP's and other jazz, blues, and folk albums from my vinyl collection that I will be listing in the next few weeks.

Shipping:  Shipped  well packed with the LP separate from the cover. Domestic US Shipping by media mail. Priority rates available on request. International shipping will be expensive, since priority mail (or express mail) is the only option. I will set a flat rate for international shipping of $25.00. All buyers must pay according to eBay policies.  If you have any questions about this, please email me.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
