New Seller, Old Records. Up for auction is an amazing Four (4) LP Box Set of experimental recordings by BILL NELSON, titled TRIAL BY INTIMACY (THE BOOK SPLENDOURS). Includes four MINT MINUS LP Records in their original outer and inner sleeves, a set of postcards which are STILL SEALED along with a VG++ copy of Bill Nelson's book titled "THE ARCANE EYE". Box Set is a UK Pressing from 1984.

Visually all four vinyl records look, play and sound like brand new, a few very light inner sleeve scuffs at the worse. I purchased this box set back in the mid 80's, I really can not recall ever playing the whole four lp's. The outer cover jackets and inner paper sleeves look near new and perfect. The vinyl has new looking shine, sheen and the brightest of new looking bright hi-gloss. Center labels look new and perfect, no spindle marks.
Outer box set container has some scuffs, scrapes, edge wear, split bottom spline corner, visible crease at bottom left corner on back cover, a sticky spot near bottom edge on back. Not the best looking outer box but for some reason this Bill Nelson Box Set is typical grade of VERY GOOD PLUS.
Includes a SEALED set of eight original POSTCARDS, along with Bill Nelson's Book titled "THE ARCANE EYE" which has light wear on outer cover, a few creases and a "smudge" mark on back cover. Book grades VG++. Low $9.99 opening bid, pay your price on this one.
