I am selling off my collection in small lots of 10 classic issues so you can buy just certain ones that interest you
Billboard Magazine is the music industry leader of keeping track of music related news, charts and sales. The most collected period of music is 1960s and related memorabilia. I have collected almost every Billboard Magazine published from 1960-1964 and have decided to sell them all off.
Note that many sellers buy up these old issues and pull out the full page ads (usually about 10 per issue) and sell them off individually anywhere from $5-20 a page and then also sell the Hot 100 Singles chart individually for $10 in most cases. So ironically by buying this issues you can split them up and sell them and make possibly $100.00 per issue !!
Well I am old fashioned and don't like to "disect" these classic books so I will sell them intact and cheap
Remember these have the hot new album reviews, all the charts showing music history, great ads from the record companies for new artists, hot industry trends, radio station news etc etc. - very cool!
In various issues you can read about the buzz created by such things as The Beatles / Elvis Presley / the Twist craze / the british invasion / the surf craze / folk music / the teen idols / and so much more!
All issues are in pretty good shape - I can't confirm every page but I would say these are all complete !
