BILLIE DAVIS LP
Over the next few weeks I will be listing several rather rare records,on behalf of a friend of mine, who currently has no access to a computer..Although not an expert on records, I am a fan and collect 60s soul.I will play grade all the records I list,and will give honest and accurate descriptions.I'm using a Technics SL-MK 2 Turntable and Sennheiser HD 415 headphones to listen,not exactly Hi - Fi but it does the job.
This is the self titled Decca lp by Billie Davis,pure n sweet pop vocals backed by some of the best session players of the time.With no filler and some cracking covers.The LP looks very clean and plays through with no repeats or skips,although there is some background noise and light pops or ticks in places.Sonically everything still comes through loud & clear without distortion and is very enjoyable to listen to.I think there is a slight edge warp,this does not affect play.Overall it's a very good play copy.
The sleeve has no seam splits or tears,and is overall in very good condition,it has the original poly lined inner sleeve.
