What can you say other than this is a MONSTEROUS BOX SET which contains everything that you'd ever need to own by Billie Holiday. No one track too few, not one track too many. Compiled in 1985 by Polygram Records in Japan, this features 136 tracks all pressed up on 10 albums on virgin vinyl (very dark colored vinyl at that!).
inside you'll find a 36 page book with a complete and incredibly detailed discography and session notes that reference each track on the Lp. There's the added bonus of four newly discovered tracks also on this set.
When this was new it sold for 20,000 yen, which seems to be around $180.
