OK - BACK TO LPs OF VARIOUS STYLES - This is a reasonably priced 1958 COLUMBIA RECORDS U.S. 6-EYE MONO WHITE LABEL PROMO LP titled 'Lady In Satin' containing twelve tracks from jazz vocal legend Billie Holiday, accompanied by Ray Ellis And His Orchestra. It is Columbia Records U.S. catalog number CL 1157, white promo '6-eye' labels with red print, deep groove heavy rigid vinyl pressing, thick cardboard cover. The record labels bear two inscriptions also indicating a promo copy, one of which does not appear in my accompanying image.

Visual condition of record is VG with some surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and a couple of small surface scratches which can be felt and which may cause a few ticks. Record labels have some tiny brown mildew spots. Condition of cover is VG with a 1-1/2" split in the middle of the top edge, the 1/2" beginnig of a split in the right side of the bottom edge, some contact and ring wear, and some wear and flaking along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no water damage, tape, tears, writing, or stickers. This original 1958 white label promo LP would be a choice addition to any jazz vocal record collection!
