St Giles Hospice - Records
Record Classification
All records are graded and classified by a professional dealer with several years experience in the trade. Records are graded in line with the international standards developed by Record Collector. All non MINT records are professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki cleaning machine supplied by Stamford Audio in Lincolnshire and handled with extreme care throughout the process. All non MINT records are played on a Linn Axis turntable fitted with an Akito arm and a Roksan cartridge. Amplification is by Marantz, speakers are Sonus Faber Concerto. All records are stored in a pet and smoke free environment. We aim to provide the highest standards of customer service at all times, should you have any queries regarding the album, sleeve, matrix numbers etc please do not hesitate to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Records are shipped in professional mailers with two supporting 12" card stiffeners. The record will always be packed separate from the sleeve. Please let us know whether you require recorded delivery.

The Auction
This collection of albums came from a donated collection that has been stored away for daylight for many years. The albums were housed in a specially designed unit which has protected the sleeves from light damage. I haven't seen a better set in years. Condition throughout is quite superb. This is a highly collectable album from Billy Eckstine on Tamla Motown. This is the original album from 1965 with the laminated flipback sleeve made by Garrod and Lofthouse. The album has been professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki machine. Classifications as per Record Collector UK.
- Vinyl - The album is in Excellent + condition with no imperfections. I haven't seen a better copy. Immaculate throughout. A great copy throughout
- Sleeve - Garrod and Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent + condition. All edges and corners are intact, the spine is clearly readable. Small sticker to the fron sleeve which I will steam off.
- Labels - Black Tamla Motown. Immaculate Deep Groove.

- Sound Quality - The overall sound quality is superb throughout. I tend to play albums quite loud in order to pick up any defects and this sounded great throughout. Highly recommended
