An amazing 16 tracks on this album Billy recorded in 1963…..note this is not a reissue!....
Must rate as his best LP…as well as some rockers, Billy covers songs by Eddie Cochran and Ray Charles in addition to to standards (‘Willow’ and ‘Broken Hearted’) and proves just how versatile he was. Sadly of course he passed away aged only 42…so this record is a reminder of a much-missed talented singer from the early days of British rock.and pop.
The record is in very good condition with only three or four light marks. Cleaned on my vinyl machine it plays very well with minimum background and the music cuts through fine. The sleeve has small creases on the front and marks on the back. No rips, splits or damage.
