Sleeve notes read as:
"There are, unfortunately, very few artists of Billy Fury's calibre in the field of British pop music today. He has, in his short career, acquired the abilityu to grasp the complete attention of an audience and to mould their emotional reactions as he pleases, either raising them ot a frenzy of delight or a passionate sadness by his interpretation of a song. To watch him work his magic on an audience is a revelation even to the most jaundiced observer.
An opportunity occurred recently not only to see this take place but also to witness its permanent capture on disc at a live recording session which was held at the Decca West Hampstead Studios in London.
One spring evening, while jaded commuters fought their way aboard their home-going tubes and buses several hundred Billy Fury fans carammed their way with far more enthusiasm into Studio 3 where, having occupied completely the acres of chairs which had been prepared for them, they squatted on the floor, leant against the wall or otherwise made themselves comfortable.
Then, once the batteries of microphones had been tested, the Tornados - Billy's permanent backing group - were introduced one by one and weaved their respective ways across the jungle of mikes and cables to their instruments.
As they drove into the introduction to Chuck Berry's composition Sweet Little Sixteen, Billy himslef slipped out of the small door beside the control room and crossed to his central mike to deliver the up tempo vocal.
You can hear the tremendous reception he received and follow him htrough the programme of ballads and songs which make up his normal stage act, all superbly delivered within the space of thirty one minutes. And by the time this record has spun itself round to the end of side two you'll probably feel like joining in the fans' spontaneous chant of "We want Billy!"."
