If you are a fan of Billy Joel (and maybe just watched that terrific HBO MAX documentary), you might know that his first band was The Hassles, which was a rock band formed in 1964 on Long Island, NY. The band released two albums, The Hassles (1967) and Hour Of The Wolf (1968) before disbanding in 1969.
This 45 release of "Every Step I Take (Every Move I Make)" from 1968 was the second single released by the Hassles from their first album and the first ever songwriting credit for Billy Joel. Billy also sings lead vocal on the track. The 45 is in very clean condition and comes with the original United Artists sleeve. A great collectible for the Billy Joel fan--his first ever songwriting credit on an official release.
